AI advisory
Most businesses know AI is worth paying attention to. Few know where to start, what to trust, or how to tell the difference between something genuinely useful and something that will cost a lot and deliver little. We help you work that out, then help you act on it.
What's included
The scope is shaped to your situation, so the specifics shift between engagements. A typical scope of work covers:
- An audit of where your business currently stands with AI and automation, including what is already in use and where the real gaps are.
- A plain-English assessment of which tasks and processes are worth automating, and which are not.
- A prioritised roadmap of AI and automation opportunities, sized to your budget and your team's capacity to absorb change.
- Hands-on implementation support, from selecting the right tools through to getting them working and your team confident using them.
Who it's for
This service is for business owners and leadership teams who are curious about AI but have not had the time or the right advice to do anything about it yet.
That might be a sole trader spending too many hours each week on quoting, scheduling or follow-ups. It might be a growing service business where the admin overhead is starting to slow things down. Or it might be a mid-market organisation that wants a proper AI strategy before committing budget to tools that may or may not be the right fit.
If you have looked at AI and thought "there must be something useful here, but I am not sure where to start", this is the engagement for you.
How we typically engage
Every engagement is tailored, but the shape stays the same.
Understand
We look at how your business currently operates, where the time goes, and where the friction is. We talk to the people doing the work, not just the people managing it.
Assess
We map what is worth automating against what is available, what it costs, and what your team can realistically take on. No hype, no vendor pitches.
Implement
We work alongside your team to set things up, test them properly, and make sure they actually do what they are supposed to do.
Embed
We make sure the changes stick. That means training, documentation, and a clear picture of what to do when something needs adjusting down the track.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a big budget or a large team to get value from AI?
No. Some of the most useful AI applications are also the most affordable. We work with sole traders and small businesses as well as larger organisations. The engagement is sized to what makes sense for your situation.
How long does a typical engagement run?
Faster than you might think. Simple AI solutions can be up and running within days. A fuller implementation program for a mid-market team typically runs eight to twelve weeks. We agree the shape and timeline before we start.
Will you recommend specific tools or platforms?
Yes, where that is useful. We are not aligned to any vendor, so our recommendations are based on what fits your situation, not what pays a commission.
What if we already use some AI tools?
That is a good starting point. We look at what you already have, whether you are getting the most out of it, and whether there are gaps worth filling.
How do you price your work?
Fixed scope and price for well-defined work, and time-and-materials for discovery and longer programs. We always agree the commercial model in writing before we start.
Will I be working with the senior consultant who scopes the work?
Yes. We also tailor the consultant skillset to your needs and budget, so you get the right mix of experience for the engagement without paying for more than you need.
